2007 is Gables Farm's Centenary year!
GABLES FARM CELEBRATES A CENTENARY OF CARE (1907 - 2007)
Gables Farm Dogs’ & Cats’ Home is Plymouth’s oldest and largest registered animal welfare charity. To mark our 100th anniversary, a series of events will be held throughout 2007 to honour our heritage. We hope you will join us, helping us to raise funds and spread awareness of our cause across the whole of Plymouth and North Cornwall.
We hope the people of Plymouth will take our Centenary campaign to their hearts and work extremely hard to raise money for us by getting involved in our calendar of events as well as hopefully, developing their own fundraising ideas, says Tony Harris, general manager, Gables Farm. During the year we hope to attract a fresh wave of support that will carry us forward for decades to come and help us finance the care we provide to many hundreds of animals each year, he adds.
If you have any pictures of Gables Farms' early days or have any photos of your fundraising events, please send them in and we will post them up on this site.
