Dog and Cat Boarding
By using our boarding service you will directly help us shelter and rehome hundreds of unwanted and abandoned animals in your local area. All the proceeds made from our boarding service go straight back to the charity.
We have dedicated staff here at Gables Farm who have great passion for animal welfare and vast experience of working with dogs and cats, especially nervous animals with behavioural problems and/or special needs.
DOG BOARDING
Accommodation
All our kennels consist of an indoor heated sleeping area and a covered outdoor run.
We can supply beds, blankets, bowls, toys, treats and food. However if you would like to bring your own you are welcome to do so as this may help to settle your dog in.
During their stay with us your dog will be exercised regularly and have access to our secure off lead paddocks so they can really stretch their legs!
Dog Food
We can offer the following foods inclusive of the boarding fees:
Adult Dry: Technical, James Well Beloved, Wellingtons, Bakers, Chappie or Wagg.
Adult Wet: Chappie, Webbox, Butchers or Pedigree Chum.
Adult Biscuit: Mixer and/or dog meal.
Senior Dry: Technical, Wellingtons, James Well Beloved, Bakers.
Puppy Dry: Technical, Wellingtons, James Well Beloved , Bakers.
Puppy Wet: Butchers
If you would like your dog(s) to have something different to eat then please make sure you bring with them enough for their stay.
CAT BOARDING
Accommodation
Our cattery consists of an indoor pen with a heat pad and a covered outside run for fresh air and exercise.
We can supply beds, blankets, bowls, toys, treats and food. However you are welcome to bring your cats scratching post and home comforts, as this will help us to settle your cat in.
Food
We can offer the following foods inclusive of the boarding fees:
Adult Dry: Technical, James Well Beloved, Go Cat.
Adult Wet: Felix, Whiskas.
Senior Dry: Technical, James Well Beloved.
Senior Wet: Felix, Whiskas
Kitten Dry: Technical, James Well Beloved.
Kitten Wet: Felix, Whiskas.
If you would like your cat(s) to have something different to eat then please make sure you bring with them enough for their stay.
Our boarding cattery is away from the kennels so your cat will not be stressed by the sight, smell or presence of dogs.
Boarding Checklist
- Unfortunately we are unable to board dogs and cats together in the same pen.
- If your pet is on medication or a prescription diet please bring this with you. We have well trained staff who are happy to administer all types of medication.
- We have 24-hour Veterinary cover 7 days a week.
- We are not able to board cats or dogs who are suspected of suffering from any infectious diseases.
- Your pet must be fully vaccinated with a current vaccination certificate. Please bring your pet’s vaccination certificate with you when you drop them off. Dogs must also have a vaccination for Kennel Cough administered at least 2 weeks in advance of their stay with us. All vaccinations should be boosted every 12 months.
Opening times
We are open from 8.30am to 4.00pm Mon-Fri and 8.30am to 3.30pm on weekends and Bank Holidays for drop off and collection.
Please Note: We are closed for drop off and collection on Easter Sunday, Saturday 28th July, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New years Day.
Bookings
Bookings can be made over the phone (01752 331602) between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm.
You are welcome to come in and inspect our facilities within our opening hours.
Dogs
Off Peak - 1 dog £12.50 per day.
- 2 dogs sharing £24.00 per day.
- 3 dogs sharing £34.50 per day.
On Peak - 1 dog £13.50 per day.
- 2 dogs sharing £26.00 per day.
- 3 dogs sharing £37.50 per day.
Cats
Off Peak - 1 cat £7.00 per day.
- 2 cats sharing £13.00 per day.
- 3 cats sharing £18.00 per day.
On Peak - 1 cat £8.00 per day.
- 2 cats sharing £15.00 per day.
- 3 cats sharing £21.00 per day.
On peak period is 20th December - 2nd January and 1st July - 30th August.
If you have one or more ex Gables Farm dogs or cats you will receive a 10% discount on the total booking price.
