Urgent Appeal For A New Kennel
The facilities at Gables Farm Dogs’ & Cats’ Home provide a safe, comfortable, modern home for the animals that become our residents. However, as stray and unwanted animals increase year on year, we now require further space in the form of a new kennel block.
We are urgently appealing for sponsorship from companies in the area to help with the building work of this kennel and would like to offer you the chance to become involved.
Gables Farm serves the areas of Plymouth and Cornwall and re-homes between 1800 and 2000 animals a year. As a registered Charity we survive on donations alone and do not meet the criteria for funding from the National Lottery, Government Grants or Community Funding.
There are several reasons why you should consider supporting Gables Farm Dogs and Cats Home and for a small sponsorship fee we can offer a variety of attractive packages.
Costs
- The Premier Sponsor Package - £3000
- The Core Premier Sponsor Package - £1500
- The Basic Sponsor Package - £500
Any contributions made from local companies could lead to us receiving match funding from trusts and other organizations. You could have a real impact on one of the oldest animal welfare charities in Plymouth and make a significant difference to the lives of the animals, which need our help.
Remember…
- Your business can claim tax relief on sponsorship to our charity.
- You can also claim tax relief for donating trading stock or equipment
- If one or your employees wants to volunteer for Gables Farm in your business’ time you can continue to claim a business deduction – simply treat the costs of volunteering as a business expense when calculating profit for corporation tax purposes.
- Your business can set up and promote a Payroll Giving Scheme. Costs are minimal and until March 2007 small and medium sized enterprises can benefit from the SME Payroll giving grant and all businesses can claim tax relief on setting up and running a scheme.
