Sponsor A Dog
See which dogs need sponsoring
In common with a lot of re-homing centres, here at Gables Farm we sometimes find there are dogs that come to us with behavioural problems or a physical disability.
Often they suffer from anxiety or fear aggression and some may show protective tendencies.
However, it has to be accepted that sometimes the problem the dog has is deep seated and it is unlikely to be totally eradicated. At Gables Farm we have a strict non-euthanasia policy with the exception of terminal illness where there is pain and suffering, or in the case of dogs; additionally dangerous aggression.
Unless a special home can be found for these dogs they are likely to spend a long time with us, some of them a lifetime. We never give up on a dog and we strive to make them as happy and comfortable as we can. It costs us over £60 per week to house, feed and care for each dog and we desperately need your help.
