Autumn Fair & Dog Show
On September the 15th we had our Autumn Fair & Dog show here at Gables. The weather was spectacular, the stalls looked fabulous and the homemade cakes smelt delicious! The crowds came flooding through the gates at 11am ready to try their luck with their four legged friends in our Fun Family Dog Show. Our fluffy visitors gave the judges a very hard time in choosing the winners for each class and our overall champion! Our raffle did splendidly well once again with some incredible prizes won including a Plymouth Argyle Signed Pennant! Our tombola prizes quickly all vanished off the table as well as our teddy tombola was very successful in finding our teddy’s new homes. Overall the day was a complete success and raised an incredible total of £2234.48 which makes our jumping castle Autumn Fair our best event of the year in 2018. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported us on the day as well as everyone who donated or helped out in other ways leading up to the event. We honestly couldn’t do it without you and it makes a huge difference to the care of all of the unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats here at Gables.
