Hi, I’m Charlie, aka Charlie Bear. When I first arrived at Gables I was a very shy boy but since I came to stay in an actual house I have gotten so much braver. I like my food (A LOT!) and I make sure I don’t get forgotten at dinner time by chirping loudly. My favourite places to sit are the windowsill and the top shelf of the airing cupboard and I love to watch the birds outside. I have started getting to know the other cats here and I have discovered that having a friend is quite fun! I would really like to go to a new home with another cat to help with my confidence so that I can settle down for good. I have never been outside so would need a very rural home to feel safe and secure.
My foster mum (FM) said I should write you all an update on how I am getting on. I hate to admit it, but she was probably right. As you can see from the above picture, I am making friends with the other cats, especially this one. Here we are, protecting the house from a ginger interloper – I was VERY brave!!
FM did the weirdest thing last week, she put a real actual pine tree in the lounge and hung lights and odd, tempting, round toys on it. Apparently it’s a Christmas tree and if I am good and don’t wreck it, on Saturday night Santa will leave presents underneath it. I hope mine is edible; have I mentioned how much I love food??! Mm, food, is it dinner time yet? I’m off to check. Thanks for reading, I’ll be in touch again soon,
Love Charlie
