If you have owned large breeds before then you are exactly the person I am looking for.
I am unsure of strangers, especially men, and it can take me a little while to make friends with new people. I bark and strangers because I’m frightened so I will need to be walked in quiet locations while I am building my confidence. Once I trust a person I am very loving, playful and silly. I will lean against legs to get your attention and although I don’t jump up often, now and again I forget myself.
I am fantastic around other dogs and I will do all I can to avoid conflict when I’m socialising. I currently weigh around 45kg and I am incredibly strong on the lead. The brilliant staff here are working on my training in this area but my new owner will need to be very strong and used to walking powerful dogs.
I really like playing with toys, you’ll be hard pushed to win a game of tug against me but when I win I will bring it back to you so we can play again. I know how to sit but I don’t know much else so this is something we will need to work on together in the future. I travel well in the car but you will need to work on my house training.
Potential adopters must have owned under socialised large breed before and be able to take me for long walks every day.
