Hello fabulous human. You’ve made me so happy because you want to find out more about me. My name is Pepperoni and I am an exuberant character, although deep down I’m not always as confident as I may appear. I tend to over compensate for my worries about the world by vocalising and rushing about but given time I know I will settle down. I’m looking for a family who have experience with sight hounds and realise that as a lurcher I have a strong prey drive and as a result I must stay on the lead and wear a muzzle in public, to keep cats and other small animals safe. I like being out and about but I do pull on the lead as I am so keen to go exploring.

I enjoy meeting dogs out about and I have lived with dogs before so I am happy to be rehomed with other dogs. I can be a bit over the top with my play so any dog friends in the home will need to be happy with that kind of interaction.

I really enjoy the company of humans and in my calmer moments I am very cuddly and affectionate. I am happy meeting and greeting new people and I am really good at offering a sit and paw when I am asked. I quite enjoy learning and I would really like to learn lots of new things once I am settled into my new home. When it comes to playing with toys I have not yet discovered the joy that can be had with them. I hope that you may be able to show me what all the fuss is about in the future.
