I’m a small dog with a huge personality. I’m full of life but I am currently suffering from some breed related medical issues. Dogs with short faces like me, also known as Brachycephalic, very often struggle to breathe easily. This is why we snore, breathe loudly or even sleep with a toy in our mouths. Although some people think this is normal for breeds like pugs, french bulldogs etc there are operations that can be done to open up our airways and nostrils. I am currently awaiting my surgery so it may be a few weeks before I am ready to go to my new home.
I’m a very excitable chap and I love playing with toys. I’m super clever and I can sit, lie down, give paw, speak and spin when I am asked. I enjoy the company of other dogs and I really love a bit of rough play. Although I enjoy going for walks I’m prone to over heating so I can only go out when it’s cool. In the summer this means early starts and late night walks to avoid the sun.
