Yes – I like other dogs so would be happy to live with another dog and make friends.

No - I am looking for a home with no cats birds or other small animals.

Yes - I am suitable to live with a family with older children (13+).

Hello there,

I’m a sweet but sensitive young man who is looking for a home with someone who has experience with nervous dogs. I’m avoidant of new people at first but with some gentle encouragement it doesn’t take me too long to come around and want some cuddles. I can be worried when I meet dogs too but I am able to make friends as long as they aren’t too bouncy and full on when we first meet. I would much prefer to live with a calm dog in the future as I get worried if I get knocked over. Despite my worries I do have a silly side and I really like playing with toys. I also like getting out and about for walks and I enjoy exploring.

It may take me some time to come out of my shell after I’ve been adopted and it’s really important that my new owners don’t expect too much too soon. You’ll need to allow me time to adjust to my new environment and routine before introducing me to family and friends.

I can be quite vocal at times which isn’t an unusual trait for my breed. I’ll need plenty of activities to keep me busy. I enjoy my food so food enrichment is something I would really like. I am yet to learn basic skills such as sit and I may need house training in my new home too. I will often let out a little wee when I am nervous and excited but hopefully once I am more confident this will stop.
