Yes – I like other dogs so would be happy to live with another plaful dog and make friends.

No - I am looking for a home with no cats birds or other small animals.

I’m sooo pleased to chose to click on my profile! You could be just the person I need to make my life whole. I’ve never lived in a house you see, as I was living in a fenced outdoor area with a makeshift shelter. I was going to be trained and used as a hunting dog but luckily I was rescued in time and I didn’t get chance to learn much, although I might still have a prey drive which you expect for my breed.
The amazing humans here tell me what a loving and sweet boy I am. I do love a cuddle and I’m partial to giving the odd kiss too. More often than not I’m quite calm and I am really looking forward to knowing what it feels like to be part of a family for the first time in my life.
I know that I have some bits to learn about the world but I’m already halfway there and I’m willing to take in everything that you want me to know. I will need all the basics when it comes to training as sadly I wouldn’t have had any of this before. But I’m eager to please and if I’m rewarded for making good decisions I’ll quickly learn what I should be doing.
I love to go for walks and I walk really nicely on the lead and harness. I’m very gentle and friendly when I meet dogs while I’m on the lead but I really come alive when I’m able to play off the lead in a safe and enclosed space. I enjoy playing chase and rough housing with other dogs so any potential house mates must be medium or large sized dogs and enjoy playing chase games.
Due to my breed I need to stay on the lead and wear a muzzle when I am in public spaces. I’m more than happy with this but on occasion maybe we could go to a local off lead secure dog paddock where I can blow away those cobwebs once in a while.
I would be very happy with first time owners who understands why it is important for me to stay on lead and muzzled when we are out and prepared to continue with this for the rest of my life.
I really am a lovely boy and I have so much to offer. I sincerely hope we will get the opportunity to meet each other very soon.
