Yes – I like other dogs so would be happy to live with another plaful dog and make friends.

No - I am looking for a home with no cats birds or other small animals.

Yes - I am suitable to live with a family with older children (13+).

I’m sooo pleased to chose to click on my profile! You must be a sight hound person if you have chosen to find out more about me! You’re just the person I need to make my life whole. I’ve never lived in a house you see, as I was living in a fenced outdoor area with a makeshift shelter. I was going to be trained and used as a hunting dog but luckily I was rescued in time and I didn’t get chance to learn much, although I do still have a prey drive which you expect for my breed. But you probably already know that.

I keep being told I’m such a sweet boy. I do love meeting new people and I love a good scratch on my neck. I know that I have plenty to learn about the world but I’m ready and willing to take in everything that you want me to know. I will need all the basics when it comes to training as sadly I wouldn’t have had any of this before. But I’m eager to please and if I’m rewarded for making good decisions I’ll quickly learn what I should be doing.

I love to go for walks and I walk really well on the lead and harness (as long as they isn’t anything to chase up ahead). I’m very gentle and friendly when I meet dogs while I’m on the lead but I really come alive when I’m able to play off the lead in a safe and enclosed space. I’m extremely over the top when I’m playing off the lead and many other dogs won’t enjoy this kind of interaction. Any potential house mates must be medium or large sized dogs and enjoy playing chase games. I need to stay on the lead and wear a muzzle when I am in public spaces due to my past as I will definitely chase cats and other small animals. I am looking to meet someone who has owned sight hounds before and who understands why it is important for me to stay on lead and muzzled when we are out.

I really am a lovely boy and I have so much to offer. I sincerely hope we will get the opportunity to meet each other very soon.
